synopsis
Junbao (Jet Li) and Tianbao are two monks who grow up together in the Shaolin Temple. Tianbao's hot temper causes them to be both expelled from the temple; they are forced to go out into the world to make their fortune. When Tianbao chooses military ambition over their friendship, Junbao is overcome by grief at the betrayal. Not until he discovers the secret of Tai Chi he is able to regain his sanity and confront his former friend.
