synopsis
When his brother is killed in the U.S., Han Sing (Jet Li) escapes from a Hong Kong jail and becomes involved in the war between African American and Chinese American gangs in Oakland, California. With the help of Trish O'Day (Aaliyah), the daughter of the African American gang lord, he unravels a complex network of deception and finds the true killer of his brother.
